Clear expectations for how we pack, ship, and support your live plant delivery.

🌱 How We Pack Your Pinguicula

Each Ping & Bloom plant is carefully packed by hand with health and safe transit in mind.

  • Plants ship bare root (no pot or soil unless a pot add-on is purchased)
  • Wrapped in slightly moist paper towel
  • Secured inside a protective plastic container sized to the plant
  • Includes individual plant tag
  • Placed inside a sturdy shipping box to prevent movement

Bare-root shipping reduces risk of root rot, soil spill, and transit damage.

🚚 Carrier & Shipping Method

We ship via USPS Priority Mail within the United States only.

  • Typical transit time: 2–3 business days
  • Tracking is provided once your order ships
  • U.S. shipping addresses only

Please double-check your shipping address before checkout.

📅 Shipping Schedule

  • Orders ship Monday and Tuesday only
  • Orders placed after Tuesday ship the following Monday

This helps prevent plants from sitting in transit over the weekend.

🔥 72-Hour Heat Pack Add-On

A 72-hour heat pack is available during colder months.

  • Recommended when daytime temperatures are below 45°F
  • Must be added to your cart at checkout
  • One heat pack is typically sufficient for small-to-medium orders

Important: Ping & Bloom is not responsible for cold damage if a heat pack is declined during freezing conditions.

🌤 Weather & Delivery Responsibility

  • Monitor your local weather before ordering
  • Add a heat pack in cold conditions
  • Ensure someone can bring the package inside promptly

We cannot control postal delays or conditions after delivery.

📦 What To Expect Upon Arrival

  • Minor cosmetic blemishes may occur during transit
  • Leaves may appear soft from wrapping — this is normal
  • Allow 1–3 days for your plant to adjust after potting

Use distilled, rainwater, or reverse osmosis water when potting.

🛑 Dead on Arrival (DOA) Support

If your plant arrives dead:

  • Contact us within 24 hours of delivery
  • Provide clear photos of the plant, packaging, and shipping label
  • Submit your claim using our website contact form

Each case is reviewed individually. Replacement or store credit may be offered at Ping & Bloom’s discretion.
